Lilian

Ngenda is an extremely hard-working and bright student in our VOH school! Her teachers LOVE having her in their classes and say that she is one of the hardest workers they’ve ever taught. Her favorite subject is math and she says that she wants to be a university professor when she grows up.

Ngenda lives with her relatives in a small reed hut about 15 minutes away from the school. She helps out at home by sweeping the floors at night and going to fetch buckets of water in the morning from the nearby well.
