Samuel and Marelize are both from South Africa where they met during Sam’s medical studies.

They have two small boys, Christo and Noah who keep them busy and help them understand the Father heart of God.

Samuel and Marelize feel called to be missionaries and are excited that they found their purpose in Zambia.

Need for a Doctor

Western Zambian is one of the most impoverished regions in the world with a life expectancy if only 29. There are hundreds of thousands of orphans in Western Zambia. 60% of children die before they turn 5!

To date we have saved over 850 severely malnourished children’s lives at our Save a Life centre and treated over 57 000 patients at our Village of Hope clinic. With Sam joining our team we are confident we’ll keep up this wonderful momentum as well as improve our care for expectant moms and their new borns.

Mobile Medical Outreaches

Sam will lead our mobile medical outreaches to rural villages. Your support will enable Sam and our team to provide first world medical care to those who have no access to medical treatment. We believe that with Sam’s expertise we can turn the dire child mortality and life expectancy statistics around.
